This stage will prepare you to write a literature review for your formal proposal. Summarize 10 primary source research articles relevant to your research objective. For each article, hand in a typed account of the following:

• Reference the article using APA style.
• Summarize the important concepts and issues discussed, as pertaining to your research objective, in two (or three) paragraphs. It is likely that what is important will vary from article to article. Some options of what may be relevant to your topic include: theoretical rationale, study objective, measurement instruments used, participants studied, methods, findings and discussion. Do not get wrapped up in the statistics that you will encounter in the results section.
